Exhibition opening - In The Making - Glasmuseet Ebeltoft

Opening of the exhibition - In The Making - at Glasmuseet Ebeltoft this weekend.

In the Making focuses on the creative process behind the works, and is curated by Eva Lynggaard (Finn Lynggaard’s daughter) and Tchai Munch (glassmaker and Finn Lynggaard’s widow). The exhibiting artists have all received the Finn Lynggaard Grant, which has been awarded by The Finn Lynggaard Foundation since 2010.

The ten artists represented in the exhibition - Lise Eggers | Bjørn Friborg | Johanne Jahncke | Morten Klitgaard | Jonas Noël Niedermann | Karen Nyholm | Marie Retpen | Tobias Sode | Aoife Soden | Ida Wieth - belong to a strong generation of younger glass artists, who all work professionally with glass. There is a wide range of works and the topics are many. From experimental and material-based practices with Ida Wieth and Johanne Jahncke to studies of expressions of nature and raw materials with Morten Klitgaard and Lise Eggers.

Vernissage January 13th at 5 pm. All Welcome!
